Photoshop Reflections

On this week's episode, Bob takes a question that's semi related to web design and gives you a quick example of how it's done. We're talking about creating images (or text) with reflections in Photoshop. Simple stuff, but it may spark other ideas when thinking about how to design using Photoshop for the web.

Thanks for this great Podcast :-) By the way ... which font do you use for the word "Encyclopedia"? Culfin
I would have only known to do half of that and the result would have been half as good. Thanks for the tip. Graphics are an important part of any website and I would welcome more Photoshop tips. I'd also like to see some Illustrator tips and pointers on handling images/photos in Drupal nodes. My latest Drupal quandaries include putting an unspecified number of photos in a node (possibly with discriptioins) and finding the best way to put photos in staff bios.
Hey! Speaking of fonts, any chance you could talk about choosing good fonts for use in graphics and where to find such fonts?
I learned some things here! Thanks! Maybe some additional podcasts on PhotoShop mask techniques. Real world examples. You have a great thing going here Bob.
I love the G&G podcast, but this videocast is WAY more helpful and practical. Thanks Bob! As far as what I'd like to see in the future as you run out of topics: More photoshop quick tips would be great. Maybe a series that just expands our photoshop toolkit a bit. An actual walk-through of you putting together one of your videocasts would be great. Most web 2.0 sites are vastly improved by including video tutorials for the end-user, and yours are super slick. More CSS tricks like the sprites episode. I know how to do most things with CSS, but a lot of people are still switching over from the old school methods. Thanks for what you're doing, and good luck with your hire search! Anthony Pero Director of Music First Assembly of God Lima, OH
Your podcasts are Great...keep up the good work!! I'm learning a ton from your Drupal-casts...keep those coming too! Thanks!
Hi, great videos, learning a lot from them as a new and excited Drupal user. May I ask what is the font you used in the video, the MustardSeed Media text? Thankyou....
Hi, I know this is a nice video but, it seems something wrong it's not playing
...too bad, I want to see this one! THX bl
I have nothing against Photoshop, but I do all my graphics exclusively in Gimp. There is a great reflection plug in (it is actually a script) that does this. http://code.google.com/p/gimp-reflection/
Sharing experience is a great thing and can easily grasp.
Wow! Impressive and cool. I really needed this one for my self-study and practice in photoshop. Great job you did.
The font you picked is really really catchy~ thanks for all the cool/informative/articulate podcasts!
